Title: A survey of industrial experiences for the UK healthcare software development sector

Abstract: A quantitative survey aims to investigate common development and management practices for the Healthcare application domain by gathering industrial experiences from software practitioners in the UK. The results indicated a number of management process areas that were most problematic, especially where collaborative work between end-users and developers were required. The survey also aims to explain the impact on and challenges to the World|s largest computer program, the National Health Service|s (NHS|s) National Program for IT (NPf IT), on the UK Healthcare market.
