Abstract: Recognising factors driving m-banking adoption among young adults is crucial for improving user performance. However, little knowledge exists of their acceptance and usage. Thus, this research investigates the factors driving m-banking adoption among young adults in higher education institutions. It integrates three theoretical models: the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), the Delone and McLean (D&M) IS theory, and the protection motivation theory (PMT). A self-administered survey was distributed to university students in Malaysia using a quantitative technique approach. The partial least squares structured equation modelling results showed that performance expectancy, facilitating condition, system quality, information quality, and perceived severity significantly correlate with intention. However, effort expectancy, social influence, service quality, trust, perceived privacy, perceived security, perceived vulnerability, and satisfaction did not. This study bridges research gaps to provide a comprehensive knowledge of how these models increase m-banking services' acceptance and usage, particularly among young adults.
