Abstract: With the current trends in technological advancement, digital platforms are major tools for project managers. It becomes necessary to adopt digital technologies in business processes, requiring an assessment of their effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyse the role of the effective digital platform to improve project management, monitor activities, reduce project delays, and improve team efficiency. Along with this, the paper discusses how the effective use of digital platforms and modern technology can reduce challenges among employees and managers. The inductive approach was followed to collect qualitative data based on case studies and interviews with five project managers to validate the research aim and gain relevant data on the use of digital platforms. Interviewees deduced that the utilisation of digital platforms improves scheduling, planning, and budgeting. Additionally, digital technologies enhance project managers' essential skills and competencies such as collaboration and communication. Therefore, training is significantly important to effectively utilise evolving platforms and overcome challenges.
