Abstract: As the Internet of Things (IoT) develops quickly, protecting the privacy and security of sensitive data and linked devices has become crucial. Blockchain technology and encryption/decryption offer viable ways to secure the massive IoT network. Blockchain provides IoT networks and transactions with decentralised trust, immutability, and transparency, while encryption helps shield IoT data from unwanted access. Two strong technologies that provide solid solutions for boosting IoT system security are cryptography and blockchain. The integrated architecture was implemented and the integration strategy provided by this methodology. For handling and validating digital transactions on decentralised, immutable networks, this technique and its application are helpful. Additionally, it examines how blockchain technology and cryptography might be used to address the security issues with the IoT and offers insights into the functions and uses of each in relation to IoT security.
