Abstract: In order to improve the reinforcement effect of transmission tower structure, the application of fibre reinforced resin matrix composite in the reinforcement of high-voltage transmission tower is proposed in this study. First, the prefabricated parts were prepared with alkali free glass fibre and epoxy resin as raw materials. Then, fibre reinforced resin matrix composites were prepared by moulding process. Finally, a composite strengthening scheme of fibre reinforced resin matrix is designed, and the calculation methods of node connection and high-voltage transmission tower structure in different strengthening schemes are analysed in detail. The experimental results show that when the fibre content is 20% and the epoxy resin concentration is 0.11 g/ml, the impact strength of the reinforced high-voltage transmission tower is the best; compared with the traditional method, the impact resistance of the tower strengthened by this method is the strongest, more than 7 kj/m2, and the annual average cost is low, only 11.18 dollars.
