Abstract: The flash-binary and double flash power technologies are proposed to exploit the geothermal resources in Tibet and western Sichuan, China. The exergoeconomic optimisation and economic sensitive are simulated by genetic algorithm. The results show that the levelised cost of electricity for flash-binary and double systems are US$0.07052/kWh and US$0.0838/kWh respectively before exergoeconomic optimisation, and US$0.06803/kWh and US$0.07331/kWh respectively after exergoeconomic optimisation. When the geofluid mass flow rate and power plant capacity are more than 50 kg/s and 1,100 kW respectively, the plant cost per unit capacity maintains between US$2,000/kW and US$3,500/kW.
