Abstract: Compression, flexural and tensile behaviour of ultra high performance fibre reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) has been experimentally studied in the present research to investigate the influence of fibre volume on its structural behaviour. UHPFRC mix corresponding to M0-M6 with fibre volume fraction from 0-10% were cast and tested under different loading conditions. It has been demonstrated that due to an increase in fibre volume content, the mechanical properties like compressive, tensile, flexural strengths, load-carrying capacity, and post-cracking stiffness were increased significantly, whereas first crack load was decreased marginally. Ductility-associated parameters like ductility, ductility index, toughness, and toughness index were also enhanced tremendously after the addition of micro steel hybrid fibres corresponding to 8% by volume. Therefore, it has been concluded that an optimum fibre content corresponding to 8% by volume is found at which corresponding strength characteristics and ductility associated properties are maximum.
