Abstract: Investments in technology require organisations to manage a behaviour called technology acceptance. Human resource technology's capability to deliver business outcomes may depend on the organisation's capability to manage employees' acceptance behaviour. In the field of human behaviour management, high performance work system has been considered as an intervention for positive organisational behaviour. Thus, the paper aims to study the role of high performance work systems on human resource technology acceptance. For this purpose, the role of human resource technology acceptance on business outcomes has been studied. Data collected from 918 executives of Fortune 500 Indian companies through a validated instrument as per Fortune 500 India list 2018. The result proved a significant role of high performance work system as a mediating factor between human resource technology acceptance and business outcomes. Implication of the research for managers has also been discussed.
