A study on automatic early detection of skin cancer

Abstract: Skin cancer is one of the most deadly types of skin cancer among all existing types of cancer. The growth rate of this type of cancer is very high so only early detection of skin cancer can help it to cure successfully. So we can say that the curability and survival from skin cancer is directly depends upon the diagnosis of skin cancer in its early stages. Since clinical observations faces several difficulties for its detection, the automatic detection of skin cancer can help to increase the accuracy. This paper mainly emphasis on reviewing the research work which has already being done in this area and providing the overview on automatic detection of skin cancer.
