Abstract: Under modern network information technology it is crucial to break through the traditional education thought and mode while exploring an effective teaching and learning mode. In this paper, a teaching and learning mode for colleges and universities is proposed based on constructivism. The proposed mode integrates three sub-modes: the network information technology is the assistant tool for teaching and learning, the network information technology is the tool for students' cognition and configuration, and the network information technology is students' self-learning platform. Moreover, an evaluation way for the proposed mode is given. The proposed mode can improve the process and way of teaching and learning, and enhance the quality and efficiency of teaching and learning in colleges and universities.
