International Journal of Computer Aided Engineering and Technology (IJCAET), Vol. 11, No. 1, 2019

Abstract: This article provides information of the biomedical engineering modelling and approach of the elbow arthroplasty process. This investigation also gives the conceptual design of the total replacement elbow joint which allows the formulation and analysis. The complete assembly of elbow model was designed in Creo parametric for modification of existing design and surface geometry of model from sharp edge to smooth edges and analysis done using ANSYS tool, which gives the results of proposed design like von Mises stress, principal stress and after that compare between existing and proposed work. It has been tested in a complex environment to find out the suitable bio materials than the existing approach. For the validation, the existing and proposed simulation results using ANSYS was provided in the paper.
