Abstract: Information perception is the basic function of the internet of things and the basic means by which an IoT information system is capable of comprehensive perception. In this paper, the DV-Hop localisation algorithm is improved by modifying the average jump distance and weighting factor to improve the information localisation and perception accuracy of the internet of things. The simulation results show that the algorithm meets the requirements of the information sense of the internet.
