Infrastructural provision of international entrepreneurship: theory and practice

Abstract: Purpose: The purpose of the paper is to determine the differences between the theory and practice of infrastructural provision of international entrepreneurship and to develop recommendations for their elimination. Design/methodology/approach: Methodological basis of the research includes the method of systemic, comparative, problem and SWOT-analysis, as well as the method of graphical representation of information. Findings: As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that existing theoretical ideas on infrastructural provision of international entrepreneurship contradict practical realia as to all its main components: institutional, financial, human, and transport and logistical infrastructure. Practical implications: Weak fundamental basis of the theory of infrastructural provision of international entrepreneurship is a restraining factor on the path of its development. Originality/value: In order to solve the determined scientific and practical problem, the work offers a new practice-oriented model of infrastructural provision of international entrepreneurship, which allows eliminating the gap between theory and practice.
