Abstract: A Branch Medical Dosimetric Registry (BMDR) of atomic industry and nuclear power employees is under development in Russia to amalgamate a number of regional registries. This work is coordinated by the State Research Center – Institute of Biophysics (Moscow). The pilot phase of this project was devoted to the forming of the regional registry of 'Mayak' PA employees. The employee registries of the Siberian Chemical Plant and the Mountain Chemical Plant are at the final stage. This paper describes the structure, current status of and general issues surrounding the BMDR.
