Abstract: Supply Chain Management (SCM) taking into account product lifecycle factors seems to be one of the industrial challenges of the next few years. This paper discusses an ontology-based approach supporting semantic interoperability between SCM and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) that could form different viewpoints on product specifications. Ontology-driven architecture of the approach is presented. Used knowledge representation formalism of object-oriented constraint networks is described. This approach is illustrated via building an Application Ontology (AO) for the SCM identifying elements related to PLM.
