Current issues of research, development and innovation in Armenia

Abstract: This paper focuses on current issues and problems in the field of S&T and Innovation in Armenia, and it describes the current state of R&D capacity, and its transformations during the last decade. It analyses reformation trends and current structure of S&T and Innovation management system and policy-making in the country attempting to make policy implications that might contribute to better meeting the needs of economic development of the country towards building a knowledge-based society.
