Abstract: The study concerns the bulk flexural, wear and nano-mechanical properties of nanotube dispersed unsaturated polyester composites with different amounts of nanotubes content. The results demonstrate the variation of bulk and nano-mechanical properties with nanotube weight fractions. Functionalisation MWCNT has yielded improved dispersion and enhanced mechanical properties. This has been attributed to the reduced agglomeration tendency of the nanofillers achieved appropriate functionalisation of the filler surface.
