Abstract: Based on the analysis of the existing main ontology construction methods and tools, we propose a user-oriented method of semi-automatic domain ontology construction. The method builds a descriptor set according to the user's requirements, and establishes a hierarchy structure based on it. Users can construct ontologies by using this method without the participation of experts. Additionally, the method has advantages for expansion and the collaborative development of ontologies.
