Abstract: The demand for higher data rates and spectral efficiency over wireless channels is growing day by day. Mobile multimedia millimetre (mm) wave communication, a key technology for 5G systems offers high date rate and greater spectrum than current cellular standards. The large amounts of bandwidth available in the mmWave band enable multi-Gigabit communication. Adaptive resource allocation and optimisation of power for mobile multimedia is of great research interest. In this paper, an adaptive fairness power allocation scheme for transmission of multimedia images have been proposed for mmWave MIMOOFDM. The results show better error performance, improved PSNR and reduced percentage of pixel errors.
