Web-based architecture and technologies of agile supply chain management system

Abstract: In order to optimise the value flow in supply chain management, this paper discusses the components of inter-enterprise information system at first, and then proposes a web-based architecture of an agile supply chain management system, composed of enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, customer relation management and electronic payment. It also discusses some key implementing technologies such as Enterprise Management Modelling, CTI, PIP, Net Security Management Frame, Legacy System Encapsulation, Electronic Payment, VRML, XML and Supplier Evaluation. Based on the architecture and those key technologies, this paper explored an agile supply chain management system as exemplified by the JinCheng Group.
