Abstract: This paper presents an analysis of the use of telework in firms belonging to the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector. Using data gathered from 280 Spanish firms, our empirical study included analysing the general characteristics of this new type of work practice in ICT firms. The view is to reveal the most widespread mode of telework in use, the number of days it occurs, the number of hierarchical levels and other relevant aspects determining its operation.
