Abstract: This research study aims to contribute to the literature on student travel behaviour by evaluating the relationship between psychological motivations and revisit intention Malaysia's neighbouring countries. Using a sample of 132 international students exiting in Malaysia, the influence of psychological motivations on revisit intention and the moderating effect of destination image in the relationship between psychological motivations and revisit intention were investigated. Partial least square (PLS), a variance based structural equation model was employed to analyse the data. The results showed that the motivations on the tourist destination image have a positive relationship and are supported. The path relationship also indicated a highly significant direct effect of the relationships between physical motivations, knowledge and social interaction on atmosphere, natural amenity, farm life and affective image. The findings illustrate the significance of direct effects and path coefficients.
