by Dmitry Ushakov
International Journal of Product Lifecycle Management (IJPLM), Vol. 1, No. 2, 2006

Abstract: This paper presents a constraint-based approach in the area of intelligent software solutions for product lifecycle management (PLM). We define the intelligent functions of PLM systems, provide examples of applications, and outline the requirements to the mathematical foundation of such systems. Finally, we describe a line of mathematical solvers for PLM systems.
