Convergence: a challenge for mobile telecommunication operators – the case of the German T-Mobile

Abstract: This article deals with the concept of convergence analysed from the perspective of a mobile telecommunication operator, the German T-Mobile. This paper concludes that mobile telecommunication operators need to handle the paradox of simultaneously realising convergence and deconstruction by applying a set of distinct strategies, depending on a careful analysis of the considered part of the mobile value net.
