An online e-voting prototype for student's union elections in Jordanian universities

Abstract: Voting system is one of many systems that are continually improved due to technology revolution. Electronic voting known as e-voting is supposed to improve integrity, correctness and appropriateness of the election process. E-voting is adopted to support the democracy concept in addition to support the credibility of the results. The primary goal of this paper is to provide a suggested online e-voting system framework for student's council elections in the Jordanian universities. We will present the architecture of the proposed framework and emphasise benefits of adopting such system alongside with obstacles.
