Abstract: Ensuring urban security is an important public policy that the city government should provide, and efficient scheduling of emergency vehicles is an important measure to ensure urban security. This paper first combs the existing research literature, and expounds the main influencing factors of urban emergency vehicle scheduling and its problem characteristics. Then, an urban emergency vehicle scheduling model is constructed based on the entropy weight method, the timeliness, economy and safety are selected as key factors, and the improved path optimisation algorithm is employed to solve the model. Finally, an empirical analysis of emergency vehicle scheduling cases in the People's Square in S City is presented.
