Geocacher's co-creation to sharing their own playful treasure hunt video experiences around the world

Abstract: Social play is a rapidly expanding category in the entertainment landscape. This study describes geocachers' playfulness to sharing treasure hunt experiences with videos around the world. Playful interaction explores geocachers' video experiences range of interaction modes sharing in YouTube for treasure hunt experiences and support playful ways the geocachers' to extend own experiences to creating social capital and social pleasure. As Pearce (2009) describe physical world became new creative playgrounds not only within discrete networked play spaces between real-world and virtual world. Large group interactions enabled by mobile technologies and other emerging forms of play that blur the boundaries between real and virtual, everyday life and imagination, work and play [Pearce, (2009), p.6]. The geocaching community has especially been a source of cultural modification, inspiration and content for the game with the help of new opportunities created by new values of users. The result show that many geocacher's who shared own geocaching experiences with in YouTube create co-experiences with other users and geocaching experiences represent of individual creation as same time users create social capital, a set of shared values of geocaching community.
