Successful launch of 450MT girder for monorail bridge at Currey Road, Mumbai

Abstract: Recently in September 2015, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) successfully executed a Herculean task of its project 'Mumbai Monorail'. This involved launching (erection) of 450 metric ton girder bridge above the railway tracks for the monorail in a short span of few hours. Present study analyses painstaking efforts of the project team on the sidelines of project management framework.
