Abstract: E-government provides citizens with greater access, better service, and more political accountability. With the ongoing introduction of technology for e-government initiatives comes increased exposures and risk, especially for cyber-crime and cyber-terrorism. Several of the more important initiatives put forth by the government to protect the public are discussed.
