Small and middle enterprises development in Central and Eastern European countries

Abstract: Faster and faster development of production methods and networks of links of efficient and especially strategic factors, deciding the success of certain production processes, became the reason for the common and relevant increase of interest in small and middle enterprises development. One of the relevant reasons for this interest is the increase in using methods of complex systems. As the result of their use the number of factors, having a repercussion on the survival of particular systems, was rising in analyses of particular socio-economic systems. In particular, multi- and interdisciplinary issues and parameters, having probabilistic or fuzzy character, came into prominence. Hence, uncertainty estimation problems of particular decisions became an imminent component of every analysis of potential decisions, not only in scope but also in all socio-economic decisions. The above methodological changes caused an expansion of the meaning of small and middle enterprises management specifically, because in such enterprises, entrepreneurial activity requires the use of inter- and multidisciplinary methods and risk analysis of potential decisions in every sphere of its activity.
