Abstract: This paper explores major application development technologies such as Sun's Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP). Furthermore, a prototype wireless application called 'AnyWhere Bookshop' is designed and implemented. This application provides any time, anywhere access to information resources with efficient user interfaces.
