Social networks, apps and smartphones for telemedicine

Abstract: This paper deals with a telemedicine method for the execution of remote medical visits with mobile devices. To this aim, a new app has been developed by the author that uses the facilities of the well-known social network Facebook and other already existing smartphone's apps and web-apps. This paper describes how to use social network and smartphone apps for telemedicine purposes, the method capabilities and guidelines for a remote medical visit.
