Abstract: This paper presents information about condition appraisal, analytical analysis, material testing evaluation, structural analysis, restoration design, and repair implementation for floor slabs of two parking structures in the Downtown area of the City of South Bend, IN, USA. Criteria used to test and evaluate the main post-tensioning in floor slabs have been explained. The strategy used to analyse the slabs, using the finite element model, has been provided. Schematic restoration designs for the parking structures have been explained. Repairs implemented to maintain the long-term durability of one of the parking structures have also been presented in this paper.
