Post-Keynesian economics: a pluralistic alternative to conventional economics
by Charles J. Whalen
International Journal of Pluralism and Economics Education (IJPEE), Vol. 7, No. 1, 2016

Abstract: This article surveys the post-Keynesian alternative to conventional economics and highlights its pluralistic features. The article begins by describing the origins and strands of post-Keynesian economics, and by discussing the school's core presuppositions and some key findings. Then pluralistic features are identified, first by looking at the tradition as a whole and subsequently at the work of one prominent post-Keynesian, Hyman Minsky.
