Abstract: The role of education, especially business education is responsible for making management capable enough to cope with challenges due to globalisation. In the present market trend, the performance of the business schools (B-schools) captures a very significant role and holds major responsibility for the economy and the growth of a country. In order to support this situation and to assess B-schools, this research was started with the generic vision: to become a leader in management education. It follows a systematic approach in identifying and presenting the key performance indicators of management education in terms of objectives and measures of balanced scorecard and to build a framework using exploratory factor analysis, with a view to improve quality. Of many tools available for performance measurement, balanced scorecard (BSC) has a strict framework of four dimensions and gives importance to non-financial measures, which could assess the performance of institutions better.
