Abstract: An attempt has been made to investigate the non-Newtonian behaviour on blood flow through artery with mild stenosis using Hershel-Bulkley fluid model. It has been shown that the resistance to flow and wall shear stress increases with the size of stenosis, but these increases is comparatively small due to non-Newtonian behaviour of the blood.
