Transport and the environment in Swedish research and policy-making

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to provide a short survey of recent developments in the area of transport and the environment in Sweden. Four specific studies are compared in terms of their intrinsic and meta-characteristics. The studies represent different approaches in terms of projections and/or scenarios. Future traffic developments and the attainment of adopted environmental goals are given special attention.
