Abstract: The define-characterise-optimise-verify/validate roadmap of design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology, its tools and its roles in enhancing product delivery process are applied for structuring a DFSS project - designing a robust and optimal paper helicopter. This case study was designed to suit DFSS Green Belt program which is typically for research and development or advanced engineering scientists, engineers and technical managers.
