Abstract: This paper looks into long term future trends of personal mobility services by providing a literature review and analysis of future studies. The future trends include long spanning megatrends in addition to shorter term forecasts of the forthcoming phenomena in mobility, transportation, traffic and logistics. Based on the analysis, some key trends are recognised based on their potential impact on personal mobility services. These key trends are analysed and discussed in more detail. Finally, we draw some conclusions of the main development directions in personal mobility.
