Conflict and cooperation in a behavioural game: an experiment

Abstract: In this paper, we study a game theory application. Our idea is to examine firstly the cooperation and the conflict as a trend between individuals in a game and secondly the adaptation of the players to a dynamic market. We present the main process and the results of an experiment that took place during the years 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. During these years, 275 undergraduate and graduate students were invited to take decisions as players within their groups. The game was repeated each time for ten runs between two groups, with incomplete communication, which were invited to take decisions on each lot of the game. There is an exchange of opinion between the participants who arrive at a group accepted decision. Taking the results of this simulation as an example, we approach the idea of market regulation as a necessity.
