A controlled diesel drive line with hydrostatic transmission: Part 2 - dynamic properties at periodic loading

International Journal of Vehicle Design (IJVD), Vol. 38, No. 2/3, 2005

Abstract: Computation of the stationary dynamic solution of a non-dimensional non-linear mathematic model of a diesel drive line with hydrostatic transmission mechanism at monoharmonic loading is introduced. The transmission mechanism consists of a variable-displacement axial-piston pump, a fixed-displacement hydromotor of the same construction, mutually connected with hydraulic piping. For computation of the stationary solution of the model, a modified method of harmonic balance is applied. The results are presented in the forms of diagrams of mean values of dynamic variables and as dynamic frequency characteristics of their periodic components.
