Abstract: This paper offers a way to collect multi-media source materials in one place such as e-book whereas the user can easily read through relevant information in a book format on a computer and a mobile device as a personal authoring e-book. The innovation is how to present multi-media source information on the screen and let the user page down or up in each page of the e-book without the need of using mouse to click on different icons or URL links to locate relevant information. Its major contribution is its user friendliness which allows students organise their course lecture materials, power point slides, teacher blackboard hand written notes, diagrams, videos and audio information in one large PDF file for students to read and edit if necessary. The development of the e-book will be on a computer, but the delivery of the e-book can be both on a computer as well as a mobile device such as iPhone.
