Tourism planning decision support within an e-government framework

Abstract: In tourism industry, information is of great importance in the decision-making process. Any information concerning the future evolution of tourism flow is indispensable both for the public and the private sector. Accurate tourism demand forecasts are essential in order to adjust their policy and corporate finance. This study proposes an e-government decision support system for tourism demand analysis and forecasting.
