Changing technological scenario in organisations

Abstract: The integration of new technology in organisation has revolutionised the way in which organisations have been conducting their work. The fast developing technology has indeed changed the face and pace of the organisations whether big or small, as well as the working environment and productivity. To adapt themselves with the advance technologies, organisations are continuously running over the mill. The main aim of this study is to add to the extant literature related with technology and its insertion within organisations. The present study provides a brief insight on the modern technologies that have been adopted by organisations and explores the impacts of the same upon them in the first section. In the following section, the paper focus upon some implications of technology on the organisations and finally we provide a brief rationale on the insertion of technology in business.
