Transforming lighting system for more greener: applying to the terminal building

Abstract: In this paper, four fundamental subjects, renewable energy resources, eco-friendly buildings, lighting systems and energy saving in airport terminal buildings, have been analysed based on the subject of energy. In addition to these, lighting calculations have been carried out for Anadolu airport terminal building. From the findings obtained, it follows that the place needs environment-friendly concerning its lighting systems to be greener. In this context, a new energy saving proposal has been set forth in scope of this paper.
