A network flow based method for the distribution of empty containers

Abstract: Given the imbalances of an international shipping company's empty containers in ports all over the world, we study the problem of the dynamic distribution of empty containers with and without third party leasing from another company and develop a decision support system to solve the empty container distribution problem.
