Abstract: As the indoor positioning information is indispensable for the emergency responding, there are many contributions committed on this approach. Nevertheless, these efforts have paid more attention on the development of sensor techniques instead of the true user demand. Therefore, we try to fill this gap by investigating indoor positional applications from both evacuee view and responder view. Moreover, three typical scenarios have been proposed to shed light on combining existing localisation solutions in applications.
