OR utilisation in Nigeria: our voyage so far

Abstract: This study presents a survey on the use of operations research (OR) techniques in tackling some problems in Nigeria. The research frontier involves problems adapted from education, economy and personnel management. The survey reflects the application areas and the OR techniques implemented. Research challenges militating against OR practice in Nigeria as well as their remedies are highlighted.
