Abstract: Outsourcing is a strategic decision that hotels need to take in order to reduce operating costs and improve competitiveness, but it remains important for them to scientifically select the appropriate outsourcing strategies. The aim of the study is to propose an integrated fuzzy multi-criteria decision making approach to come up with best outsourcing strategies. This approach evaluates the importance of various factors which motivates hotels to go for outsourcing services. In the present study a combination of fuzzy AHP and fuzzy TOPSIS is used to build up an approach that results in finding out weights to different motivating factors for outsourcing using fuzzy AHP. This is further extended with fuzzy TOPSIS to rank different services that can be outsourced and thus prioritising them.
