Abstract: The process of learning by human beings has extensively been researched under different heads and frames of references and in that too, the learning by cognition. Over time, the modern technologies like Web and Enterprise 2.0, etc., have come into existence. Since inception, these technologies have become an inherent part of people's lives. The purpose of this paper is to draw the attention of the readership about the existing potential of making people aware and learn about sustainability and related issues using social networking platform. The methodology in the paper follows an exploratory, case-based approach and system dynamic modelling (Causal Loop Diagram) to ensure the sturdiness of the outcomes. This paper critically reviews the current scenarios of social networking and proposes a framework as an outcome, to answer the question of how sustainability awareness can become much fruitful as compared to physical setups, classroom trainings and other efforts.
